Services Held For Mrs. Pearl Schwarck

Services for Mrs. Martin W. (Pearl) Schwarck were held at the Ivester Church of the Brethren on December 18, 1981 with Rev. Arlin Claassen officiating. Burial was in the Sheller cemetery.

Mrs. Schwarck died Tuesday, December 15 at the Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad where she had been a resident for 2 1/2 years.

She was born in Owen County, Indiana, on February 28, 1900, the daughter of Amos and Mary Boyer Smith. She came to the Eldora area in 1918. She and Mr. Schwarck were married at the Ivester Church of the Brethren parsonage on January 2, 1919. They farmed their entire married life in the Ivester community.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Glen (Dora) Button of Eldora, Mrs. Edgar (Marie) Moats of Knoxville, IA; and Mrs. Orval (Ann) Perry of North Liberty, Ind.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Martin, in 1977, two sisters and eight brothers.

The Longnecker Funeral Home, Eldora, was in charge of arrangements.
