3-Year-Old Boy Dies From Cancer

John Albert, three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Draper Jr., died at his home Sunday night from cancer with which he was afflicted for several months. He was taken to the hospital at Iowa City, but specialists there were unable to give the child any permanent relief.

Funeral services were held at the Ivester church Tuesday afternoon. The service was conducted by the local pastor, Rev. Luckett. Burial was in the Ivester cemetery.

Surviving are the parents, three sisters and two brothers. The sisters are Helen, Mary and Lois. The brothers are Dale and Glenn. Surviving grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Draper Sr. and Mrs. Dave Mast.
