Goldie Heetland

Goldie Heetland, 84, of Ackley, died November 4, 1997 at the Presbyterian Village.

She was born September 19, 1913 in Buckeye, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Hattie Blossie Roeske. She attended country school near Buckeye.

On December 20, 1945 she married Paul Heetland at Kamrar, Iowa. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Heetland was a member of East Friesland Presbyterian Church in Ackley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her husband Paul; one son Roger and his wife Kathy of Ackley; three grandchildren, Rick, Chad and Krystal of Ackley; and one brother, Herman Roeske and his wife Georgia of Buckeye.

Funeral services were November 8 at East Friesland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bruce Baillie officiating.

Interment was at the church cemetery.

Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home of Ackley was in charge of the arrangements.
