Ordie Jutting

Ordie Jutting, 90, Ackley, died July 3 at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls.

Mrs. Jutting was born April 4, 1905 in Visguard, Germany. Her parents were Habbe and Elizabeth Duhn. Educated in Germany, she moved to the United States when she was 18. She married Tetus Jutting September 29, 1925 at Cleves. A homemaker, she was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, rural Ackley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Casper; a sister, Anna Blumhoff; a brother, Cornelius Duhn; four half-sisters and one half-brother.

Survivors include her daughter, Lillian Martin and husband, Don, Ackley; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Jutting, Ackley; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services were held July 6 at Faith Presbyterian Church. Rev. Tim Diehl officiated. Interment took place at East Friesland Cemetery, Ackley.

Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home, Ackley, was in charge of arrangements.
