Death Of Everet W. Mudderman

On Saturday morning, August 21, occurred the death of Everet W. Mudderman, one of the oldest residents of the vicinity at Cleves. On the day of his death, Mr. Mudderman was seventy-eight years, four months, and seven days old. He was born in East Friesland, Germany, and came to this country in 1882. He took up farming near Cleves, and was in that vicinity continuously until his death. About four years ago, Mr. Mudderman left the farm, and moved to the village of Cleves.

Mr. Mudderman's death was preceded by an illness of only 10 days, and was the result of old age. Funeral services were held at the house Tuesday at twelve o'clock, and the body taken to the church where further services were conducted by Rev. F. W. Engelke.

Mr. Mudderman is survived by his wife and seven children. The sons are Will Mudderman of Cleves, Everet Mudderman of Moorhead, Minnesota, and Jake Eilders of Cleves. The daughters are Mrs. Anton R. Boyenga, of Adams, Minnesota, Mrs. Will Daniels of Ackley, and Mrs. Menno Harms and Miss Dena Mudderman of Cleves.
