Mrs. Jennie Willems Laid To Rest Here

Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 26 for Mrs. Bohle (Jennie) Willems of Ackley at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church cemetery. Mrs. Willems passed away March 23 at her home.

She was born December 30, 1887 in Greatseal, Germany. She came to this country at the age of 10 months. She spent her entire life in the rural Ackley and Cleves communities. On February 17, 1914 she was united in marriage to Bohle Willems at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church. They retired from their farm in the fall of 1957 and lived in Ackley until the death of Mr. Willems.

Surviving are 2 sons, and 1 daughter: Arnold of Evansdale, Robert of Ackley, and Doreen Nichols of Rock Island, Ill.; also 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, two daughters and one son. Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home at Ackley were in charge of arrangements.
