Delmar D. Venenga

Feb. 3, 1931 - Sept. 29, 1992

Delmar D. Venenga, 61, of Salem, died Tuesday in Dallas.

He was born in Grundy Center, Iowa.

He married Lorraine Kuhns on April 5, 1966, in Vancouver, Wash.

For more than 30 years he owned and operated Del Venenga Construction Company. He built new homes in Salem, Dallas and Independence, and most recently specialized in remodeling historical building, homes and businesses.

He enjoyed raising Scottish Terriers and restoring wooden musical instruments.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Pete and Mike Kuhns, both of Salem, and Marvin Kuhns; daughter, Mary Lou Mace of Portland; three brothers; and two sisters, all living in Iowa.

Visiting will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Bollman mortuary, Dallas. Private interment will be in Womer Cemetery in Pedee.
