Seth Leonard Larson, 54, of Swisher, died Saturday at Veterans Hospital, Iowa City, following a brief illness.

Born April 18, 1928, at Norway, he married Lois Nederhoff on May 28, 1949, at Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Larson was area supervisor for Square D for 28 years. He was a lifetime resident of the Cedar Rapids area.

He was a member of Swisher American Legion Post No. 671 and the Masonic Fideletas Lodge A.F. & A.M., and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors in addition to his wife are two brothers, Robert of Chula Vista, Calif., and David of Buffalo, Minn.

Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Robert Elkin of Eden Church of Christ. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Masonic services will be conducted by Fideletas Lodge A.F. & A.M. and veterans services by American Legion Post No. 671 of Swisher. Visitation: after 4 p.m. today at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. The casket will be closed prior to the service.

Last Rites Held For Seth "Tyke" Larson

Seth "Tyke" Larson of Swisher passed away Saturday night at the Veterans hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at Cedar Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cedar Rapids. The interment service was also held there.

Surviving the deceased is his wife Lois, also two brothers, Robert Larson of Chula Vista, CA and David Larson of Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Nederhoff.
