Nederhoff, Shirley J., 71, of Tampa, passed away January 3, 2007. Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Dale Nederhoff of Tampa; daughter, Lisa Dayle Viertel and husband, David, of Dubuque, Iowa; son, Bradley Kent Nederhoff and wife, Geri, of Waltham, Mass.; son, Brian Clark Nederhoff and wife, Shari, of McKinney, Texas; eight grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Meyeraan of Wellsburg, Iowa and Brenda Buss of Marshall, Minn. and brother, Dennis Huisman of Wellsburg, Iowa.

After working 13 years as an office manager of Dearolf & Mereness LLP, she would return to help out every tax season. Shirley was also an active member of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church and she volunteered with the UMC Women's Group and the PEO Organization. Family members will receive friends for a viewing from 1-2 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007, at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. and a reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church Building Fund. A service and burial will be at a later date in Dubuque, Iowa.
