Pachner, Lorraine, 78, of Woodstock, N.Y., and Tampa, died Monday (Feb. 13, 1995) at her Woodstock home. She was born in Wellsburg, Iowa, and moved to Woodstock more than 50 years ago. She was secretary to the editor-in-chief of Esquire magazine from 1936-43. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, William; a daughter, Ann Koolman Pachner, New York City; a son, Charles Edward, Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Grace Covert, Wellsburg, and Bernice Weibner, Davenport, Iowa; and two grandchildren. Lorraine Pachner, 78, the wife of William Pachner, a nationally known artist with ties to the Suncoast, died Monday at the family home in Woodstock, N.Y. Until last spring, she and her husband had spent part of each year in Tampa for many years. Earlier, they lived in Clearwater, where he had a studio and taught painting.
