Mrs. Grace Volk

Mrs. Grace Volk, 53, of 323 Crescent Place, was dead on arrival at Allen Memorial hospital of a heart attack at about 6:30 p.m. yesterday.

She was born Sept. 29, 1914 in Wellsburg, the daughter of Joseph and Reka Meints Eygabroad. She was employed in the sliced meat department at the Rath Packing Co. for the past 15 years.

Her first marriage was to Paul Schultz on Dec. 2, 1937 in Ackley. He died in 1959. Her second marriage was to Fred Volk on Sept. 24, 1966, in Waterloo.

Most of her married life was spent in Waterloo. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. She was graduated from Wellsburg high school in 1932.

Survivors are her husband, one son, Keith Paul Schultz of 1627 Oakwood Drive; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Joy Strickfaden, 804 1/2 Grant Ave., Mrs. Beverly Jean Wood of 10-28 Commercial St.; two sisters, Amelia Hippen of Wellsburg; Mrs. Vivian Schultz of Ackley; her father, Joseph Eygabroad of Wellsburg; and six grandchildren.

Besides her first husband she was preceded in death by her mother.

Services are pending at the Chapel of Memories East, where friends may call after 6 p.m. today.
