Rites Thursday At Clear Lake For John M. Frerichs

John M. Frerichs, 57, of Clear Lake and formerly of Wellsburg, passed away Sunday evening, April 11 at the Mercy hospital in Mason City. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Congregational Church at Clear Lake. Burial will be in the Clear Lake cemetery. The Wilcox Funeral Home at Clear Lake is in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Gideon Wolbrink will officiate at the service.

He was born August 26, 1913 at Holland, Grundy County, Iowa, the son of Harm and Bertha Meyer Frerichs. On January 31, 1933, he was united in marriage to Billie VanMeter at Galena, Ill. They made their home in Wellsburg where he was engaged in the oil station business. Three years ago the Frerichs' moved to Clear Lake.

Survivors include his widow, Billie; one son, Gary John of Dover, Delaware; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Treadway of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Raymond (Cindy) Sexton of Clear Lake; and nine grandchildren.
