Mrs. Charles Polley Dies At Hospital

Mrs. Charles Polley, who spent the early part of her life in Grundy county died Thursday at St. Francis hospital in Waterloo following a stroke of paralysis. She was 65 years old.

She was born at Evansville, Ind., Mar. 28, 1886, and was married to Charles Polley at Grundy Center, in 1908.

The couple lived at Reinbeck before moving to Waterloo five years ago.

Surviving are the husband; 3 daughters, Mrs. Harold Taylor, Charles City; Mrs. Erwin Freitag, 1019 Sycamore street; Mrs. Jack Bickel, at home; two sons, John, Hazleton; and Richard, 1009 Dawson street.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the French funeral home in Reinbeck. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery.
