Obituary: Margaret Siefken was born Sept. 30th, 1878, at Grundy Center, Iowa, and was married Oct. 24th, 1901, to Mr. A. D. Long. To them were born two children, Margaret aged five, and Emilie Lillian aged three. She was a member of the Lutheran church and of the Royal Neighbors Lodge. She departed from this life September 20th, 1907, but after a brief illness. Besides her bereaved husband and little ones, she leaves to mourn her loss her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Siefken; five brothers, August, John, Henry, Renka and Carl, and one sister, Mrs. Effie Foster. Rev. Barnard conducted the funeral services at Whitten, Sept. 22nd. Interment in Beaman cemetery.
