She Took Own Life

Mrs. Henry Lindemann of Aplington--Husband Discovers Body

Mrs. Henry Lindemann, resident of Aplington, committed suicide last Friday afternoon, by hanging. Mr. Lindemann had gone to town and on his return found his wife, her body still warm, but no sign of life. She had hung herself.

No possible cause can be assigned for the act; she appeared to be in good spirits at the time that Mr. Lindemann left the house. Her husband and a daughter of 15 years survive. She was along in the 50's.

Mrs. Lindemann was a daughter of the late Casper and Mrs. Arends, and was known to many in this community. No reason for the act can be ascribed.
