Mary Jane Meints, age 90, of Ackley, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church, Ackley with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Friday at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley.

Mary Jane Meints was born on November 10, 1922 in Ackley, Iowa, the daughter of Chas and Lydia (Noordman) Meints. Mary Jane was a cook at the Presbyterian Village in Ackley, retiring in 1984 and was a member of the East Friesland Presbyterian Church in Ackley.

Mary Jane is survived by her great-nephew, Corey Meints and his wife, Michelle of Iowa Falls; two great-great-nieces, Brianne Meints and Makenna Meints both of Iowa Falls; a great-great-great-nephew, Kyzer Riley of Iowa Falls; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Melvin and Floyd Meints; a sister-in-law, Bertha Meints; and a niece, Betty Meints.
