Mr. Lindaman passed away to his reward on August 11th, 1882.

September 5th, 1894 she was married to Mr. H. F. Heetland, who passed away on February 9th, 1898. Since a few years after her husband's death she has been making her home with children. The last nine years she spent most of her time with her daughter, Mrs. Hattie Schmitt, at whose home she passed away.

She was one of the organizers of the East Friesland Presbyterian church near Ackley and was one of its faithful members. She leaves to mourn her death eight children, all of whom are living; there are 51 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; she lived to the age to become a great-great-grandmother. The children are Mr. J. W. Lindeman, of Sibley, Iowa; Mrs. J. B. Bleeker of Ackley, Iowa; Mrs. H. Wessels of Ackley, Iowa; Mrs. C. VanDerWerf, of Wellsburg, Iowa; Mrs. J. Johnson, of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. W. H. Wolle, Belmond, Iowa; Mrs. Jerrie Lindeman of Aplington, Iowa; Mrs. Hattie Schmitt of Eldora, Iowa.

"Servant of God, well done,
Rest from thy loved employ;
The battle fought, the victory won,
Enter thy Master's joy.

The pains of death are passed,
Labour and sorrow cease,
And life's long warfare closed at last,
Her soul has found God's peace."

Funeral services were held Friday at the home of Mrs. Hattie Schmitt and interment was made in the Ackley cemetery.
