Long Time Resident of Steamboat Rock Neighborhood

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian church for Harm Santen, of Steamboat Rock, who died at Eldora Memorial hospital Thursday evening.

Mr. Santen was born in Germany Sept. 8, 1858, and came to America in 1881.

Surviving are three daughters, Lizzie, Lena, and Mrs. Phillip Ruppelt and two grandchildren.

Burial was in the cemetery of East Friesland Presbyterian church.
