Cornelius Rameyer Died of Injuries Sustained
Cornelius Rameyer, in his 50th year, engaged in farming, died as a result of injuries sustained when attacked by an angry bull. The injuries were sustained last Thursday when Rameyer was attacked by the bull, a young animal, on the farm that he occupied. He was taken to an Iowa Falls hospital after the occurrence, and he died there Tuesday morning, May 8th.
He was a son of Martin Rameyer, farmer, south of Ackley. Father and one sister survive, also his wife and two children.
Funeral services are to be held Saturday afternoon, at the East Friesland German Presbyterian church, Rev. C. Siemsen, pastor, officiating. The deceased was a veteran of World War I, and members of the American Legion will attend the funeral in a body, so stated.
