Linda Ehrig, 66, of Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center, IA. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd, at French-Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck from 5-7 P.M. Private interment will be held at a later date per the family's wishes. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Linda was born on January 14, 1951 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to her parents John & Luann (Saul) Moore. Linda grew up in Reinbeck graduating from Reinbeck High school in 1969. Linda was united in marriage to Jon Ehrig on June 27th, 1970 at the Methodist Church in Reinbeck. Linda held many occupations over her lifetime with her most recent being a custodian at the Gladbrook-Reinbeck High school. Linda enjoyed spending time with her two sons over anything else. She was also known for baking and cooking, and her sugar and chocolate chip cookies were some of her most desired creations. She also enjoyed spending time with her two grandpuppies, Sammy and Austin. Linda also enjoyed spending her time helping others and being part of the community.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael "Virgil" Ehrig of Dinsdale, and Brian "Boomer" (Heather) Ehrig of Gladbrook; Mother LuAnn Moore of Reinbeck; and Brother Jack Moore of Traer. She was preceded in death by her father John, husband Jon, brother Bob Moore, and grandson Gabe Ehrig.
