Hardin County Citizen--After a brief illness following years of feeble health incident to advanced age, Mrs. Polly M. Avery died at her home in East Iowa Falls, early on last Saturday morning. She has been a resident of this city for a number of years. She was the widow of a war veteran who died several years ago. On account of her advanced age, being nearly eighty years old, she was able to be about but little, but in her small circle of acquaintances was loved and respected. Several children survive her, among them being E. E. Avery, formally of this city. Her remains were taken to Reinbeck Saturday morning for interment.
