Waterloo--Sandra Bertram, 48, of 4850 Charolais Drive, died Thursday, July 20, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.

She was born Sept. 6, 1946, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Alvin and Viola Tjepkes Syhlman. She married Raymond Bertram on July 20, 1968, in Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Bertram graduated from Hawkeye Institute of Technology and was a medical transcriptionist at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Brian of Marion and Mark of Plainfield; a grandchild; her parents of Dike; a brother, Steve Syhlman of Waterloo; and a sister, Sylvia Frenchick of Iowa Falls.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for an hour before services at the church.

Memorial fund: will be established.
