WATERLOO--Roberson E. "Earl" Barrow, 77, of Waterloo died Wednesday, May 4, at Allen Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 17, 1934 in Greenville, North Carolina, son of Simmie and Thelma (Robinson) Barrow. He married Ruth A. Bertram on May 5, 1962 in Waterloo.

Mr. Barrow served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was employed in assembly with John Deere Tractor Works, retiring in 1996.

Survived by: his wife, Ruth; three brothers, Jimmie (Sue) and Lavern Barrow, all of Newport News, VA, and Tommy Barrow of Lanexa, VA; one sister, Hilda Shelley of Portsmouth, VA; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, Preston Barrow and a sister, Betty.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls. Military Honors conducted by the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Public visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, and also for one hour prior to services Monday.
