Neighbor Calls To Find Ralph Becker Dead; Seated In Chair, At Table

Ralph Becker, a well known farmer, living as he had been on the old home place on which his father had lived, and where he died, was found at home there Saturday afternoon last, when a neighbor, Mr. Cooper, a young man, called. The evidence was that Mr. Becker had seated himself at his table and had passed away while partaking of his frugal meal.

Ralph Becker had lived on the place all of forty years. He worked it with his father up to the time of the latter's death a dozen or more years ago. He lived alone, had never married, and had but little or no help about the place.

He was in his 69th year. He owned the home place, a farm of 160 acres; he has a sister and other relatives living in Kossuth county. Funeral Wednesday and burial in West Friesland church cemetery.
