Carrie Cakerice, 92

Carrie Cakerice, 92, died February 10, 2007 at Valley View Nursing Home in Eldora. Memorial services will be at the Ivester Church February 24 at 2 p.m. A private graveside service will be held later this spring at the Sheller Cemetery in the Ivester Community.

Carrie was born on September 4, 1914 the daughter of Amanda and Hugo Fox. She was a retired elementary teacher. She taught at Conrad and Steamboat Rock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; a sister, Ferne; a son, Jay; a great-grandson, Richard Howard Johnson; and a daughter-in-law, Karen Cakerice.

Carrie is survived by her two sons, LeRoy (Myrna) Cakerice and Howard (Rosi) Cakerice; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; eight step-great-great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
