Claire M. Albright Died Monday, Funeral Thursday

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 3, at 1:30 p.m. at the Ivester Church of the Brethren. Pastor John Ditmars was officiating clergyman. Russell Kruse was soloist. Mrs. Charles Kruse was organist. Flower attendants were Mrs. Ernest Draper and Mrs. Lloyd Draper. Pall bearers were Ralph Huisman, Lester Huisman, Clarence Hogle, Lloyd Draper, Royce Harms and Norman Huisman. Interment was made in the Sheller Cemetery north of Ivester.

Claire M. Albright passed away very suddenly around 4 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31 at the Ellsworth hospital in Iowa Falls due to an apparent heart attack. He had entered the hospital on Friday evening the 28th for treatment. He reached the age of 63 years, 6 months and 24 days.

He was born on a farm in Melrose Township, near Ivester on July 7, 1908, the son of P.K. and Cynthia (Miller) Albright. He attended the rural school in the area and graduated from the Wellsburg High School in 1926. On September 20, 1929, he was united in marriage to Miss Alice Newell. Following their marriage they moved to a farm near Ivester. They then lived in the Sheffield area for one year and then moved to a farm in Melrose township near Conrad. In September of 1961, they retired from the farm and moved to Wellsburg.

Mr. Albright was a member of the Ivester Church of the Brethren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to mourn his passing are: his wife, Alice; a son, Wallace of rural Conrad, his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Betty Albright and one granddaughter, Linda Albright.
