Sharon F. Oelmann, 60, of Ackley, IA died Monday September 5th, 2016 at U of MN Hospitals in Minneapolis.

She was born March 8th, 1956 in Eldora, daughter of Richard & Dorothy Neessen. She was united in marriage to Alan C. Oelmann April 12th, 1976 in Austinville.

Sharon graduated from Wellsburg Schools in 1974. She worked several factory jobs and retired due to illness.

She is survived by 3 children: Jennifer, Heath & Riley; a son-in-law, Matthew; 5 grandchildren, Jayden, Hallie, Hannah, Heath Jr., & Charlotte; three brothers, Ray (Pat), Jim (Shirley) and Mike (Connie); two sisters, Ramona & Debbie (Reggie); brother-in-law Warren (Cindy); sisters-in-law, Donna (Joe), Janet & Deb along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Judy, and brothers-in-law, Eddie, Richard, Brian & Keith.

Visitation will be Friday, September 9th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 10th at 10:30 a.m. at Aplington Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Aplington.
