Death of Grace Hook

Miss Grace Hook, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harm Hook, died Tuesday morning after an illness of about one weeks of appendicitis. She was born in Colfax township and if she had lived until July 25, next, would have been nineteen years of age. She was an attractive girl of a lovable disposition and is greatly mourned by hosts of friends as well as relatives. The funeral will be held at the Drake church Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. She leaves a father, mother and four brothers.

Must we forever part.
Dearest loved one we have laid thee
In the peaceful grave's embrace
But thy memory will be cherished
Till we see thy heavenly face.
We miss thee from our home dear

A shadow o'er our life is cast
We miss the sunshine of they face.
We miss thy kind and willing hand
Thy fond and earnest care
Our home is dark without thee
We miss thee everywhere.
