Katherine McGrath Dies In Marshalltown

Miss Katherine McGrath, a former resident of Grant township, Grundy county, died Sunday morning in Marshalltown, where she made her home in late years. She was 72 years old.

Services were at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning in St. Mary's Catholic church, Marshalltown. Burial was in the family lot in the Grant Center cemetery.

Miss McGrath was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark McGrath, early residents of Grant township, Grundy county. She grew up on a Grant township farm. Later she taught school for several years.

Surviving are two sisters, Miss Tena McGrath, and Mrs. Winifred Elledge, Marshalltown, and a brother Michael from Waterloo.
