Milf Meyer Dies In Hospital

Milf Meyer died in a hospital at Hampton at 2:30 Sunday morning. He was operated on there three weeks before and was getting along well and expected to go home within a short time. On Saturday he took a relapse and continued to get worse until the end came. The remains were taken to the home at Bradford. Funeral services were held at Bradford yesterday and they were very well attended.

Mr. Meyer was born in Germany, and was in his forty-ninth year at the time of his death. He came to this country with his folks thirty-five years ago and lived here continually until five years ago when he moved to his farm at Bradford. Mr. Meyer was twice married. His first wife was Miss Lena Kramer. She died some twelve years ago. Two years later Mr. Meyer married Miss Lena Kromminga. The second wife died last August. There were five children from the first wife and four from the second wife. Aside from these relatives Mr. Meyer is survived by two brothers living in this county and one sister. The brothers are Tonjes and Wiert and the sister is Mrs. August Steinmeyer. Mrs. Steinmeyer, Mr. and Mrs. Tonjes Meyer, Mr. and Mrs. John Rabenburg and Wiert Meyer and family were at the funeral.
