Rites Held Friday For John Boven

Funeral services for John Boven of Bristow were held on Friday, March 16 at the United Methodist Church in Bristow. Rev. Clarence Burns officiated the service.

Mrs. Alvin Reynolds and Mrs. John Harms provided two special numbers.

Burial was held in Holland.

Those left to mourn his passing are a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Dirks of Bristow; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Cretin of Eldora; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers and one sister.

The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home was charge of the arrangements.
