Mrs. R. Lindaman Died Monday

Mrs. Rieke Lindaman died Monday at her home in Grundy Center. She had been partly disabled as a result of a stroke of paralysis twelve years ago. The past three years she was unable to walk. Ten days ago she contracted pneumonia which was the cause of her death. She was 75 years old.

Funeral services are being held Thursday afternoon at the home and later at Bethany Presbyterian church in Grundy Center with Rev. F. J. Langenberg officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery at Holland.

Mrs. Lindaman's maiden name was Anna Hoodjer. She was born in Germany. She came to America and to Grundy County 52 years ago. Two years later, Mar. 9th, 1895, she married Rieke Lindaman. The couple lived several years in Holland and on a farm a short distance south of Parkersburg. Six years ago they came to Grundy Center where they have since lived.

Nine Children in Family
Mrs. Lindaman was the mother of nine children, all of whom are living. There are three sons and six daughters. The sons are, Onno, Parkersburg, George, Shell Rock and John, Iowa Falls.

The daughters are Mrs. Will Hinders, Holland, Mrs. H. Bockes, Mrs. Joe Klar, Grundy Center, Mrs. Jake Jacobs and Mrs. Klunder, Clarksville and Mrs. Lloyd Long, Grundy Center.
