George Beenken Dies at Hospital

George Beenken died at a hospital in Iowa City Tuesday afternoon. His remains were sent to this county last night and they were taken to the Beenken home in Lincoln township.

Funeral services will be held next Saturday afternoon. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Holland.

Mr. Beenken had been sick a number of years. Two weeks ago he went to Iowa City for treatment but his case appeared to have been hopeless.

The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Beenken of Holland. He was married and a wife and five children survive him.
