Mrs. John Frerichs Dead

Mrs. John Frerichs died early Wednesday morning at the home of her son-in-law, O. A. Ontjes, at Holland. She had been ill for some time from cancer of the liver. Mrs. Frerichs was born in Germany about sixty years ago and came to Grundy county when she was thirteen years old.

The funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 o'clock at the home of O. A. Ontjes, in charge of Rev. H. R. Pontow, and further services will be held at the German Lutheran church. Burial will take place in the Holland cemetery.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Frerichs leaves four children: Mrs. O. A. Ontjes of Holland, Mrs. Henry Arends of Cedar Rapids, Harm Frerichs of Wellsburg and John Frerichs, Jr. of Spirit Lake.
