Obituary

The death of Antje Foelrichs born Peters occurred at the home of Mr. H. N. Andreessen April 29, 1907.

She was born February 13, 1824 at Griemersum Altendeich Ostfriesland and was united in marriage to Daniel Jannsen Foelrichs in the year 1863.

Five years later she and her husband and other relatives left for America making their home near Forreston, Ill., where they resided the first five years after which they changed their home to Grundy county, Iowa. The death of her husband occurred November 21, 1884. They were the parents of only one daughter with whom she resided the remainder of her life.

The cause of her death was old age, dropsy and other complications.

The age of the deceased was 83 years, two months and 16 days.

The remains were taken from the home of her daughter Mrs. H. N. Andreessen and placed to rest in the cemetery of the German Reformed church at Fern, Iowa.

Funeral services were held last Thursday, Rev. Schafer officiating. She leaves to mourn her loss one daughter and a number of other relatives.
