Obituary

Little Herman Peters, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Peters of Colfax township, died Saturday afternoon at 2:30. His death was a shock to the entire community, even though he had been a sufferer from diabetes for more than a year. He was around as usual up till Tuesday when he complained of feeling ill. During the night he became worse and after a few days of severe suffering his little spirit took its flight.

Herman was a bright and lovable child, being of a very frolicsome nature and he will be greatly missed at home and by his many little friends.

He was ten years and two months old at the time of his death, and he leaves to mourn his loss his parents, six brothers and four sisters, one sister having preceded him several years ago.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock from the house, and the remains interred in the cemetery adjoining the Siemson church.
