Gone Home

Early last Monday morning the Angel of Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Kruger and claimed their oldest daughter, Dena. She had been in failing health for the past few months and her death was not unexpected. She was a bright and loving child and the sorrowing parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad loss.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Siemson were held Thursday at the Reformed church west of Fern and she was tenderly laid to rest in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Her voice so sweet, is hushed and stilled,
She rests in peace above,
Her place on earthean ne'er be filled,
Her life was one of love
She rests in peace; so we rejoice
Though tears are in our eyes
We seem to hear her angel voice
Singing in Paradise.

Kruger Child Dead

The 10 year old girl of Mr. and Mrs. G. Kruger of Pleasant Valley township died Monday from quick consumption. Funeral services were held today in the Rev. Siemson church in Pleasant Valley.
