Mrs. Fred Everts Buried

Services Conducted by Rev. Siemsen at Pleasant Valley Church

Mrs. Fred Everts was buried Monday at the Rev. Siemsen church in Pleasant Valley township, following services in the home at Parkersburg. Mrs. Everts passed away last Thursday afternoon at Parkersburg at an advanced age, being over 70 at the time of her death. She leaves a husband and several children in the immediate family to mourn her death.

Before moving to Parkersburg, Mr. and Mrs. Everts lived on the old home farm one-half mile west of the church in Pleasant Valley. Several years ago they left the farm and went to Parkersburg to live, purchasing their present home from Norman Clark. For the past two years Mrs. Everts has been sick and under the care of a doctor almost constantly. She gradually failed in a hopeless fight against an incurable disease, and died about five o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial took place by the side of children in the cemetery, at the Rev. Siemsen church.
