Alvina Walterman, 75

Alvina Rosella Walterman, 75, of Parkersburg, passed away December 30, 2004, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services were January 3 at the Pleasant Valley Reformed Church of Holland. Burial was in the church cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.

Alvina was born on August 13, 1929, the daughter of Ubbie and Nelie (Jansen) DeVries. On April 5, 1959, she was united in marriage to Clarence Walterman.

Survivors include her son, Steve; a very close family friend, Kirk Bragg; a brother-in-law, Albert Huisman; and two sisters-in-law, Mary DeVries and Irene Walterman.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter; her parents; three brothers; and four sisters.
