Theodore Klunder Dies Saturday at Cedar Falls

Theodore Klunder died at his home in Cedar Falls last Saturday from heart trouble with which he was afflicted most of the past year.

Funeral services were held at the Siemsen church two miles west of Fern on Tuesday. Burial was in the Siemsen church cemetery.

Mr. Klunder was 66 years old. He came to this country from Germany with his mother and his brothers and sisters. The father died in the old country. Mr. Klunder lived in Grundy county since coming to this country excepting the past five years when he and his family lived near and in Cedar Falls. They moved to Cedar Falls from a small farm near there two years ago.

Mr. Klunder resided on farms in Grundy county several years and for quite a long time he lived in Holland when he was employed by the late Henry Dirks.

The wife and six daughters survive. Other relatives are two brothers, Fritz and Ben and one sister, Mrs. Henry Linderman from Aplington.
