Services Wednes. For Edna Eberline

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 9th at 1:30 p.m. at the Second Christian Reformed Church for Miss Edna Eberline, age 79, who died Sunday morning at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital. Rev. John Entingh of Holland was the officiating clergyman.

Burial was in the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church cemetery. Doyen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Edna Eberline was born on April 8, 1892, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Benz) Eberline, on the family farm in Pleasant Valley Township, northeast of Wellsburg. She attended the rural school in the area. Her mother passed away in 1921. In 1923 she moved to Wellsburg together with her father and two sisters, Hilda and Hazel. She had made her home in Wellsburg since that time. Edna's father passed away in 1938, her sister Hilda in 1947 and her sister Hazel in 1965.

She was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church, having joined by transfer of membership on September 3, 1927.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.

Those left to mourn her passing are her brother, Ford Eberline of Wellsburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Harold O'Kones and Mrs. Ivan Slifer sang two duet numbers with Mrs. LuRay Neessen, organist. Flower attendants were Mrs. John Heinrich and Mrs. Lawrence Bausman.

Pall bearers were Verne Eberline, Virgil Eberline, Donald Eberline, Merville Eberline, Harold F. Harms and Virgil Groninga.
