Annette M. Bausman, 105

Annette Marie Bausman, 105, of Wellsburg, died July 12 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Funeral services were July 15 at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, rural Wellsburg. Burial followed in the church cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.

Annette was born April 27, 1898, in Norfolk, NE, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen. Annette graduated from New Hartford High School and then attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. Annette taught school in country school for 6 years. On June 24, 1924, she was united in marriage to Irl H. Bausman at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Irl died on July 24, 1938. Annette worked as a clerk in the Post Office for 32 years. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church since 1933.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Donna Bausman of Wellsburg; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Lawrence Bausman; a daughter, LaVelle Ford; a grandson, Kim Ford; and a sister, Wilda Pryde.
