Funeral services for Menno Brandt, 65, of 615 Linn St., will be Tuesday afternoon at Buck Grove Cemetery near Parkersburg.

Mr. Brandt died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at Allen Memorial Hospital of a heart attack.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home.

He was born Aug. 5, 1907, in Grundy County, the son of Herman and Grace Pruisner Brandt. He married Gayle White in 1929 and they were later divorced. Mr. Brandt was a Baptist.

Survivors include four sons, Marlin of Ft. Smith, Ark., LeRoy of the Black Hawk County Home, Lester of Davenport and Leo R. of 1118 Independence St., Cedar Falls; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a grandson.

Menno Brandt, who will be remembered by many around Stout, died on Saturday, March 10th at Allen Memorial Hospital of a heart attack. He reached the age of 65 years. Funeral was at the Locke Funeral Home on Tuesday with burial at Buck Grove cemetery near Parkersburg. Survivors are four sons and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a grandson. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Brandt.
