Samuel Forsythe

Samuel Forsythe was born about 68 years ago in Wisconsin. He came to Iowa and Hardin county about forty years ago. For a few years he drove a team in Eldora. Then he went to Grundy county and worked upon various farms. Where he worked was his home, but one year ago he returned to Eldora and resided here until his death which came Friday morning, February 16. The burial service took place Sunday at 2:30 at the Melrose church and was conducted by Rev. T. H. Gallagher, pastor of the Eldora Methodist church.--Eldora Herald
