Mrs. Anna DeBoer Dies

Mrs. Anna DeBoer, 84, former Dike resident, passed away at the Metropolitan Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minn. early this past Tuesday morning, Sept. 28, 1976.

Funeral services will be held at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in New Hartford today, Thursday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Stout Cemetery.

Anna Lindberg was born June 11, 1892 at Stout, the daughter of Hans and Anna Sophie Nielson Lindberg. She was married to Estert DeBoer in Grundy Center on August 29, 1910. They lived at Stout for a time and then moved to Minnesota. Mr. DeBoer passed away on May 19, 1924. Mrs. DeBoer moved to Dike in May 1969 where she resided at 621 Fifth Street until this past Sept. 6th when she went to Minneapolis to make her home.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Roy Lorenzen of Minneapolis; three sons, Maynard DeBoer of Stout; Virgil DeBoer, R3, Cedar Falls and Maurice Nielsen of rural Dike; one sister, Mrs. Marie Pedersen of Waterloo; one brother, Jesse Lindberg, Cedar Falls Lutheran Home and 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son.
