Edward Decknadel Funeral Thursday

Edward Decknadel, 56, of Parkersburg, died Saturday evening, September 21, at Sartori hospital in Cedar Falls. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 in the Stout Reformed church. Rev. J. H. Hoekstra will officiate. Burial will be in the Stout cemetery.

Engelkes Funeral Home at Parkersburg is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Sept. 18, 1912, in Grundy county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elso Decknadel. He was married June 25, 1943, to Leona Kruger. He had always farmed south of Stout, until he suffered a stroke 5 1/2 years ago. In December 1966 they moved to Parkersburg. He was a member of the Stout Reformed church.

Mr. Decknadel was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Surviving is his widow, Leona.
