Mrs. Fannie Arends Dies

Mrs. Swantje (Fannie) Arends died Tuesday at the Benorden Nursing Home, where she had been residing for a short time. Death was due to advanced age. She reached the age of 83 years.

Surviving are one son, Donald, at Springfield, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Albright, Waterloo; Mrs. Mason Scofield, Evansdale; and Mrs. Harry Huss of New Lenox, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother, and her husband in February of 1963.

Funeral was at 2 o'clock at the Stout Gospel Hall, Stout, Friday, Oct. 2. Burial in Stout cemetery beside her husband.
