Mrs. Everett Miller Dies; Resided In County 87 Years

Mrs. Everett Miller died Tuesday morning at her home a mile and a half east of Stout. She had been sick several months before her death. She was 87 years old.

The body was taken to the Engelkes funeral home at Parkersburg where it was prepared for burial. Services will be Thursday afternoon in the Reformed church at Stout. Burial will be in the cemetery at Stout.

Was Born in Grundy County
Mrs. Miller was born on a Colfax township farm in Grundy county. Her maiden name was Fanny Johnson. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson. Soon after her marriage to Everett Miller the couple moved to a farm in Beaver township.

The husband died in 1928. Mrs. Miller continued to live on the home farm after her husband's death.

Surviving are five daughters. They are: Letta, Cedar Falls; Marie, at home; Mrs. Henry Kappers, Parkersburg; Mrs. Joe Eekhoff, Shell Rock; Mrs. Rudolph Hook, LaPorte City. There are 9 grandchildren. Other surviving relatives are one brother, Albert Johnson, Holland; one sister, Mrs. Charles Willerts, Thompson, Ia.
