Mrs. Theodore Dilger Died Thursday

Magdalena Wilken Dilger was born March 26, 1871, in Orstedtfeld, Germany. She came to Reinbeck, Iowa, in June of 1889. She was united in marriage to Theodore E. Dilger on Dec. 20, 1892.

The first years of their married life were spent at Buck Grove, after which they moved to Beaver Center. In her later years Mrs. Dilger made her home with her children. She and her husband made profession of faith and united with the Reformed Church of Stout on Jan. 22, 1939.

She was preceded in death by her husband on April 6, 1941; also by one brother and four sisters. She is survived by her three children: Harvey of Stout; Elizabeth (Mrs. John DeBeer) of Grundy Center; and Anna (Mrs. Calvin Clauson) of Dike; also by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She passed away quietly at the Harvey Dilger home on Thursday at 6:30 in the morning.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 in the Reformed church in Stout, and interment was in the Stout cemetery. Rev. A. Roskamp officiated.
