Services Tuesday For A. W. Bulthuis

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Engelkes Funeral home in Parkersburg for Albert W. Bulthuis, 81, who passed away Sunday at the Christie Convalescent home in Cedar Falls, after a lingering illness. Burial was in the cemetery at Stout, Iowa.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Peter Pruin, Dike; Mrs. Warren Bouck, Waterloo; Lydia Bulthuis, Duluth, Minn.; and one son Edward, who operates the Grundy Photo Studio in Grundy Center.

Albert Bulthuis Dies At Cedar Falls

Albert Bulthuis, who lived in the vicinity of Stout for many years, passed away at the Christie Convalescent Home in Cedar Falls Sunday evening, having reached the age of around 86. Before he went to the home he was a Parkersburg resident.

His wife, the former Letta Theerman, died many years ago. He was of a large family, of whom only two sisters survive: Mrs. Harm Meyer of Stout and Mrs. Henry Dresselhuis of Parkersburg.

Surviving also are three daughters and one son. He was also preceded in death by two children.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Parkersburg funeral home, conducted by Rev. A. Roskamp. Burial was in the Stout cemetery.
